Our dual meet against the co-op team from West Bend was a good meet! West Bend has some really strong, talented swimmers and it’s good for the guys to see that! And, it is a 25 meter pool, so that is always an adjustment for the guys! The evening began with the 200 medley relay teams; A team: Miller, Orvis, Biskobing, and M. Huebner finished an awesome second place with their time 1:5654; the B team: Tumey, Hadacek, Huegerich, and W. Roller finished an awesome fourth place with their time, 2:04.82. Next up in the 200 freestyle were Biskobing (2:04.25) finished second place, just being out-touched by his first place opponent, Huegerich (2:16.24) finished fourth place and J, Huebner (2:28.43) finished sixth place. In the 200 IM, Miller (2:18.3.9) had an awesome first place finish, followed by Tumey (2:38.70 – his personal best by 2 seconds!) finished fifth place and Hadacek (2:41.83) right behind to finish sixth place. M. Huebner (24.99 – his personal best time!) swam an awesome second place in the 50 freestyle, followed by W. Roller (25.99) finishing fourth place and Seitz (29.02 – his personal best time!) finished sixth place. Theis (199.45) had an outstanding second place finish in diving, just missing first by a few points! Friede (187.65 – his personal best 6 dive score!) finished third place and Kasdorf (151.70) right behind to finish fourth, great diving guys! Biskobing (1:01.76) had a sweet first place finish in the 100 butterfly! Sharbuno (1:10.07) and Tumey (1:19.43) also swam the 100 butterfly, both their first time this season, swam great races; Sharbuno finished fourth and Tumey finished fifth place. Huegerich (58.75), M. Huebner (59.15) and Seitz (1:05.34) finished fourth, fifth and sixth places respectively in the 100 freestyle. Sharbuno (5:50.60) was up again, this time to swim the 400 freestyle, he finished second place. W. Roller (6:14.65 – his personal best time by 8 seconds!) and Meier (6:26.02) both also swam the 500 freestyle; W. Roller finished fifth and Meier sixth place. Our ‘A’ 200 freestyle team: Biskobing, M. Huebner, W. Roller and Miller had an outstanding first place finish with their time, 1:39.63; followed by the ‘B’ team: Huegerich, Meier, Seitz and M. Roller finishing fourth with their time, 1:51.83! Miller (1:03.28) was up again, this time for the 100 backstroke, he finished second place! Friede (1:19.59– his personal best time!) also swam the 100 backstroke finishing fifth place! It was another 4-5-6 finish for us, this time in the 100 breaststroke event. Hadacek (1:22.74 – his personal best time!) finished fourth, Orvis (1:23.38) finished fifth and Meier (1:27.94 – his personal best time!) finished sixth, nice race guys! In the he final event of the evening, the 400 freestyle relay, we came away with third and fourth place finishes! The ‘A team: Sharbuno, Orvis, Seitz and Meier finished third with their time, 4:50.07 and the ‘B’ team: Tumey, J. Huebner, M. Roller and Hadacek finished fourth with their time, 4:54.43. it was a great meet to swim, good times, and lots of fun! Also a nice experience for the guys to swim meters for a change! Onto our busy week… Kiel on Tuesday, Grafton on Thursday and the Manti Invite on Saturday!
